Bina Shah

Master of Counselling, Gottman Method Couples Therapy

As a licensed counsellor and psychotherapist with a master’s degree in counselling, I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey towards greater well-being and self-acceptance. My approach is grounded in person-centred care and a psychodynamic perspective. I have deep respect for everyone’s story and their journey and I believe every individual has the inherent capacity to heal and grow. In my work, I draw on concepts from neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and the window of tolerance to provide a trauma-informed and holistic approach to therapy. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where my clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I am passionate about helping people connect with their authentic selves and live their lives to the fullest.
In addition to my work as an individual counsellor, I also specialize in couples counselling using the Gottman method. This research-based approach helps couples build strong and healthy relationships by teaching them skills such as effective communication, managing conflict, and creating a strong foundation of love and connection. I am dedicated to supporting couples in their journey towards greater understanding, intimacy, and satisfaction in their relationship. By creating a safe, non-judgmental space for couples to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, I aim to help them gain a deeper understanding of each other and build a stronger, more resilient relationship.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your unique journey towards healing and self-discovery.
