What three words would you use to describe yourself as a Psychologist?

Gentle, encouraging, reflective.

What do you like most about your job?

Helping people to deeply understand themselves, and seeing those that feel a little lost find peace and purpose in their lives again.

If you could do a completely different job for a day, what would it be?

Interior design. I love decorating and I appreciate when somewhere is aesthetically pleasing.

What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?

My PhD. I was so appreciative to train under an impressive supervisor and contribute to psychological theory through my doctorate. However, if you’ve ever spoken to a PHD candidate, you’ve probably heard the most amazing stories. It certainly is a trying time, but I am so glad I persevered with it. The skills, expertise, and personal growth make it all worth it.

What makes you laugh?

Impersonations of famous people, particularly when it’s of Jack Nicholson.

If you could visit any place in the world tomorrow where would it be?

New York.

What is your motto or personal mantra?

Don’t be afraid of walking away from things that are not meant to be.
